The Harry Potter Series (JK Rowling) or Paper Towns (John Green)

Why Harry Potter?: Well, unless you've been living under a rock for the past 10 or so years, you should've at least heard the words Harry Potter or JK Rowling uttered by numerous media sources of obsessed fans. These books are amazing and changed my life. Pretty much the only criteria for my rl friends is Do you like Harry Potter? In only two cases have I had friends who don't like it (ummmm...I don't really speak to hem anymore....). This seven book series took us through the life of three best friends and a world of wizards and whitches who band together to defete the dark side. I reccomend this book to absolutly everyone in the universe!!

Why Paper Towns?: John Green's newest book Paper Towns is possibly the funniest book I have evr read, I remember reading this during science one day when we had a sub and just cracking up, I can't even remember what point it was because it happened on so many occasions. This book is amazing and I reccomend it to people who don't get easily offended. DFTBA.

Gillian to guest star in Doctor Who

According to the Daily Telegraph, Gillian Anderson is lined up for an appearance at Doctor Who. The article at their website states:

The 40-year-old, best known for her role as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the sci-fi drama, is expected to be cast opposite the new Doctor Matt Smith. Doctor Who's makers want the London-based actress to appear in a one-off special episode as a deadly enemy of the Time Lord.
The American star would play the part of the renegade Time Lady The Rani, a glamorous but evil scientific genius previously played in the series by Kate O'Mara in the 80s. An insider told the Daily Express newspaper: "Gillian obviously has a massive sci-fi following and it's felt that it would be a major coup to have her appear in Doctor Who.

"The team behind the show are keen for the next Doctor to have lots of new enemies and Gillian would be a glamorous and impressive addition to the list. The Rani would be a perfect role for her as the character used to be regarded as one of the Doctor's most deadly opponents."

Rob Guest the Australian Theatre (in search of better word) legend tragically passed away late last night due to a massive stroke. He played the wizard in Wicked over here in Oz and I was meant to see him on Dec. 10.

He will be greatly missed by everyone that is involved with Australian Theatre.
